The DROJNET 2 Project Consortium hereby informs users of its website about its Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection, in accordance with Law 15/1999, passed on December 13th pursuant to Protection of Personal Data and other applicable regulations, so that users are able to freely and voluntarily choose if they wish to provide their personal data as requested in this website.

The DROJNET 2 Project Consortium reserves the right to modify the policy at their own discretion, for changes in legislation, jurisprudence or administrative and/or business practice. If any modifications are made, the new text will be published in the same place, where users will be informed about the new policy. Whichever the case, relations with users will be governed by the regulations in force when they actually visit the website.

Voluntary – Compulsory Nature

DROJNET 2 Project Consortium will not collect any information through their website about anybody, for example: name, address, company, telephone number or e-mail address (“personal information”), unless said person voluntarily decides to provide it, for example, through registering in the prevention forum. If any of the fields in the forms that are to be filled in compulsorily, indicated with an asterix or in any other way, they will be absolutely necessary to be able to provide the service requested, and if they the mandatory fields are not filled in, users will not be provided the relevant service offered through the website.

The DROJNET 2 Project Consortium has adopted the security levels for protection of personal data as legally required, and has employed the technical and organisational means demanded by Royal Decree 994/1999, Security Regulations for Automatic Files containing personal data, and has installed all the technical means and measures within their reach to avoid loss, misuse, unauthorised alteration, unauthorised access and theft of the data provided through the site. Nevertheless, users are aware that security measures on the internet are not impregnable.

Non personal information stored automatically

When the website is accessed, information may be automatically collected (i.e. not through registration) which is not personally identifiable (for example, the type of web browser and the operating system being used; the name of the domain of the website of origin; the number of visits, average visit time on our website, pages visited). This information will be used to measure the use that is made of our website and to improve its contents.
